Marsha Sue Shepherd Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2025, at the age of 79, Marsha Sue Shepherd of Villisca, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick Bryson and Lois Bergren Bryson; her husband Roger Shepherd; her children, Kristi (Tony Vance), Julie (Tom Kaufman), Brett Shepherd, Barb (Pat Swanson), Tony (Misty Shepherd), Nick (Beth Shepherd), Kari Bloom (Shawn Cooper) and Kati (Tyler Hansen); her grandchildren, Cameron, Tayler Vance, Drew Vance, Zach, Cecily Kaufman, Brandon Kaufman, Avery Shepherd, Jaylenne Shepherd, Addison, Phoenix Staton, Landon Nordquist, Connor, Shelby Swanson, Devan Swanson, Danielle Swanson, Ryan, Jayden Swanson, Eliza, Chloe Ethan, Bailey Shepherd, George and Gus Cooper Layla Hansen; her great grandchildren, Willa, Etta Vance, Jaxson Shepherd, Colin Welker, Wesley and Jack Swanson; her daughter-in-law Stacy Shepherd; her grandson Gilman Cooper; and her brother Frederick Bryson.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Villisca United Methodist Church (203 S 3rd Ave, Villisca, IA 50864). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
