He was predeceased by: his wife Lola Maye; his siblings, Elmer Krug (Virginia) and Dorothy Bayer (Frederick); and his brothers-in-law, Franklin Brehm, Russell Brehm (Rose) and Ronald Brehm (Sandy).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Goslinga (Eric) of Marshalltown and Stephen Krug (Margrate) of Hartwick; his grandsons, Matthew Krug, Daniel and Dalton Goslinga; his stepgrandchildren, Miranda Tyson and Elijah Jones; and his sister-in-law Ann Brehm of Middleton, ID. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial fund has been established.
