With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene (Lillian Tornberg) Carls of Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on May 5, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Tornberg and Lillian Tornberg (Chadwick); and her sisters, Carol Willey, Joyce Walmsley and Marjorie Klostergaard.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Martin (Bill), Mark Carls (Kathleen), David and Philip (Tammy Vogel); her siblings, Gordon Tornberg, Ruth Eirschele, Donald Tornberg and Larry Tornberg (Mary Jo); and her brother-in-law David Willey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
