He is survived by: his wife Michele Powers; his children, Sam Sauer (Paula) of Cedar Rapids and Beth Martin (John) of Dousman, WI; his granddaughter Adeline of Dousman, WI; his brother Eric Sauer; his stepbrother David Smith of Vinton; his sister Angela Roberts of Huntington, WV; his stepbrother Brett Smith (Amy) of Palo; his mother-in-law Pat Powers (Tony Schwarting) of Rowley; and his brother-in-law Shane Powers (Carrie) of Vinton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
