She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Mortland and Enid Mortland (Boughton); her children, Elizabeth, Brandt and Brian; and her brother Billy Lee Mortland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Reiss of Lincoln, NE and Heather Mell (Shane) of Vinton; her grandsons, Braden and Parker Mell; and her sister Shirley Flam (Ben) of New London.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (307 3rd Ave, Van Horne, IA 52346). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Andrew Lutheran Church (307 3rd Ave, Van Horne, IA 52346). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1002 E 13th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Andrew's Lutheran Church (307 3rd Ave, Van Horne, IA 52346).
