She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilson and Charlotte Wilson (Baird); her stepmother Harriette Wilson; her brother-in-law Gilbert Hansen; and her sisters, Dorothy McNamee, Marian Madorin, Evelyn Fleming, Mary McCall, Georgia Thompson, Darlene Heaton and Dona Dales.
She is survived by: her son Kris Hansen (Sue); her grandchildren, Josh Hansen (Stacy) and Sara Hansen; her great grandchildren, Alayna, Westin and Merett Hansen; her stepgrandchildren, Christy and Ben Whitesell; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Joseph Sullivan and Fayth Joens; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Hansen and Keith Hansen (Barbara). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Vinton (608 1st Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). A reception was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Vinton Presbyterian Church.
