With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dixie Lee Christian of Vinton, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Glasener and Betty Glasener (Greever); her husband Duane Christian; her son-in-law Scott Powell; and her sister Jane Glasener.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Strang of Sarasota, Karla Elliot (Andy) of Littleton and Kristina Powell of LaPorte City; her grandchildren, Ryan Strang, Brittany Peterson, Allex Ryken, Conner, Karlee, Kallin Elliot, Kylie Crees, Wesley Powell and Courtney Entriken; and her brothers, Robert Glasener of Des Moines, David Glasener (Cindy) of Cedar Falls and Burt Glasener (Holly) of Independence. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
