He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Tumilty and Shirley Tumilty (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Mahr (Ransom); his children, Renee Sadler (Brian) of LaPorte City, Robyn Oberhauser (Ted) of LaPorte City and Rachele Steffens (Ted) of LaPorte City; his stepchildren, Shannon Mahr (Misty) of Dysart and Hayley Rippel (Jeff) of Vinton; his grandchildren, Thavier and Illian; and his siblings, Dwight Tumilty of Cedar Rapids and Deb Garbers (Bill) of Vinton. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (901 W 19th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the G. Luckey Amercian Legion Post #57 (105 N R Ave, Vinton, IA 52349).
