He is survived by: his wife Vonnie; his children, Edward K. Wilhelmi (Nancy) of Atkins, Vicki Gardemann (Garth) of Vinton, Donald J. Wilhelmi (Nancy) of Atkins and Ronald R. Wilhelmi (Mary) of Atkins; and his grandchildren, Deb Gorkow (Marty), Kathy Wiklund (Peter), Tami Junge, Lori Mott (Chris), Larry Gardemann (Becky), Denny Gardemann (Molly), Miranda Schmid (Dylan), Paul Wilhelmi (Johnette), Greg Wilhelmi (Amy) and Crystal Schaefer (Jacob).
Memorials may be directed to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Central Lutheran School, the Vinton Lutheran Home, or a charity of the donor's choice.
