She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Alpers and Adelia [Schminke] Alpers; her husband Robert V. Wright; her former life partner Don Shaffer of September; her sisters, Hazel Alpers, Ruby [Robert] Huppert, Bernita [Harold] Flickinger and Rachel [Don] Butts; and her son-in-law Dwayne Burkey.
She is survived by : her children, Steve [Joyce] Wright of Cambridge, Judy Burkey of Vinton and Kathy [Rod] Potter of Ankeny, Iowa. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
