With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hilbert W. Janssen of Vinton, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, August Janssen and Elizabeth Janssen (Kranz); his wife Mary LeClere; his son-in-law Darrel Olson; his great grandchild Justin Coots; and his siblings, Berniece Cottrell, Ruth Scheetz and Lawrence Janssen.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Janssen (Catherine) of Vinton, Van Horne of Vinton, Rodney Janssen (Shannon) of Vinton, David Janssen (Jenny) of Vinton, Kurt Janssen (Carrie) of Vinton, Jodie Olson of Marion, Menomonie of Marion, Wis of Marion, Julie Hansen (Scott) of Marion, Jackie Koss (Gregg) of Marion, Jeri Thompson (Tom) of Marion and Jeanne Dennis of Marion. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
