She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Griffith and Sophie Griffith (Maifeld); her husband Donald Weatherwax; her children, Donald Weatherwax II, Rhonda and Mona Weatherwax; and her siblings, Grace Smith, Gladys Norte, Charlotte Roger, Drucilla Ritchsmeier and Charles "Bud" Griffith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Weatherwax (Don Hutchings) of Kalona and Melanie Weatherwax of Cedar Rapids; and her boyfriend Mike Cottrell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
