He is survived by: his children, Katherine Lorenzen of Ogden, Utah, David Billings (Susan) of Dayton, OH, Timothy Billings (Deb) of Ida Grove, IA and Steven Billings (Julea) of Port Orchard, WA; his granddaughter Amy Jessen (Michael); and his close friend Brian Kreutner (Jen).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1002 E 13th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (901 10th Ave, Vinton, IA 52349).
