With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Earl Struve of Vinton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kenneth Earl Struve to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Struve and Ruby Struve (Byous); his wife Darlene M. Lewis; his siblings, Betty Grimm (Dean), Bernice Rhoads (Robert), Weldon (Janette), Glen (Hannah) and Roger; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Higgins and Donna Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Shirale Hanson (John) and Jim Struve (Jill) of Vinton; his grandchildren, Andy (Emerald) of Columbus, OH, Rob (Emily) of Garrison, IA, Kate Stodola (Jake) of Mission, KS, Carson Struve of Vinton, Kacie Griffith (Max) of Williamsburg, IA and Nathan Struve (Jamie Thompson) of Minneapolis, MN; his great grandchildren, Tate, Elliot and Hanson; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Lewis of Cedar Rapids, IA and Donna Higgins of Mt. Auburn, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (516 2nd Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been established.
