Larry Milton Hook Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, Larry Milton Hook of Vinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anno Hook and Jeanette Hook (Card); his brother Oddie Hook; and his son Lance Hook. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Underwood; his children, Malea Lee (Scott) of Vinton, Lucas Hook of Vinton, Michael Hook (Adrianne) of Vinton and Marty Hook (Sammie) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Anil, Tyler, Bailey and Finnick; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Hook and Sharon Cruse. He is also survived by niece and five nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blessed Hope Community Church (1509 S M Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be directed to The Mark Harrison Cancer Foundation, 202 Canton St. SW, Shellsburg, IA 52332, in honor of Larry's life and legacy.
