She is survived by: her mother Ruth Bascom (Zahn) of Vinton; her husband Darren Kirk of Vinton; her family Darren; her children, Darren Kirk II (Jessica) of Marion, Jason Kirk (Lizzy Coghlan) of Cedar Rapids, Jeremy Kirk of Vinton and Kristina Kirk of Blairstown; and her grandchildren, Aiden and Savannah Kirk.

A memorial fund has been established.
