He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kelty and Rita Kelty (Zieser). He is survived by: his wife Linda Rinderknecht; his sons, Nick Kelty (Mickel) and Mathew Kelty (Amber Valentine); his grandchildren, Aiwa, Aila, Airish, Aiceni and Kaleb Kelty (Lew); and his siblings, David Kelty (Donna), Brett Kelty (Loraine), Shannon Kelty (Karie), Lori Williams (Lonnie) and Sean Kelty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
