We bid farewell to Marlyn W. Duncan of Vinton, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Marlyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Duncan and Edith Duncan (Godfrey); his wives, LaDonna Mae Riley and Kathryn Mealey; his son-in-law Dr. Tim Gerhart; and his siblings, Howard, John Duncan, Alice Carpenter, Florence Vold and Grubb of Iowa.
He is survived by: his children, Judith Staab (Jerry), Janet Gerhart and Jon Duncan (Claire). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers, memorials may be directed to the Vinton Volunteer Fire Department, the Wesley Methodist Food Pantry, or a charity of the donor's choice.
