We are sad to announce that, on October 17, 2025, at the age of 82, Mary Ann Pladsen of Vinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Peyton and Vera Peyton (Fischer). She is survived by: her son Troy; her husband David Pladsen; her grandchildren, John Heires, Breanna Gustafson (Cory), Britain Pladsen, Paul Heires, Olivia Coder, Lexi Miller (Baylee Jones), Blair Pladsen, Brooklyn Pladsen, Mason Coder, Caleb Coder, Gideon Pladsen and Gabriel Pladsen; her great grandchild Cohen Gustafson; her siblings, Richard (Sue), Patrick (Debbie), Dennis Peyton (Ruth Meirick) and Rosalie Kilpatrick; her siblings-in-law, Teri Peyton and Ron Brockman; and her siblings, Elizabeth Brockman and Michael Peyton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established and may be directed to St. Mary Cemetery, Vinton, or the Vinton Lutheran Home Living Communities.
