He is survived by: his wife Lynda Warnken; his stepdaughters, Jennifer, Christina and Diana; and his siblings, James Burkhart, Carol Lietzow, Phillip Burkhart, Julie Wuensch, Marilyn Burkhart, David Burkhart, Patrick Burkhart and Greg Burkhart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
