She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Marquardt and Caroline Marquardt (Gamm); her husband George Grovert; and her sister Janice Berridge (Robert). She is survived by: her children, Paul Grovert (Janet) and Lori Lang (Eric); her grandchildren, Caroline, Morgan Lang, Jenna and Nora Grovert; and her siblings, Martin Marquardt (Setsuko) of Salinas, CA, Roger Marquardt (Rosemary) of Marengo and Mary Seeman (Lon) of Newhall.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1002 E 13th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery - Newhall 25th.
