He was predeceased by: his daughter Julia; and his parents, Quang Thi Vi and Bao Van Tran Lam. He is survived by: his wife Patrice; his children, David (Yijie Wu), Audrey (Facundo Lucci), Samuel, Emerson and Ingrid; and his grandchild Aurelo. He is also survived by three sisters, a brother, and many, many nieces and nephews.
