He is survived by : his children, Jeff Schlitter of Arizona and Ryan Schlitter of West Virginia; his brothers, Kevin Schlitter of Fort Wayne, Scott (Marcie Schlitter) and Craig Schlitter of Vinton; his nephews, J. D. Schlitter of Chicago and Mitchell Schlitter of Vinton; his niece Megan Schlitter of Vinton; and his aunts, Shirley Schlitter of Sumner, Carol Schlitter of Phoenix and Lois Irwin of Cedar Rapids.
