He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Melvin, Marilynne Neal, Kenneth and Dora Ehlinger; and his nephew William James.
He is survived by: his parents, Terry Ehlinger and Bonnie Ehlinger of Vinton; his sister Melissa White (Shawn) of Vinton; his niece Elisabeth Wiley (Drew) of Vinton; his great-nieces, Margaret, Bonnie and Etta Wiley; and his pet Mia.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (2 S R Ave, Vinton, IA 52349).
Memorials may be directed to the family for an established memorial fund.
