He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Carrie Brus and Kate Heid (Ryan); his granddaughter Charlotte; his siblings, Linda Kostichek (Jack) and John Brus; and his sister-in-law Terry Brus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
