He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Illian and Elsie Illian (Puck); his grandmother Anna Soenke Puck; his sister Catherine Eichelberger (German); and his son Mark Albert.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Wallace (William) of State College, PA, David Illian of Parker, CO and Larry Illian of Littleton, CO; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Johnson, Amanda Johnson (Sam), Kristina Johnson (Brett), Rebecca Johnson, Natalie Appel (Evan) and Lindsay Kramlich (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, William Appel and Milo Kramlich.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Church of Walcott, Walcott Historical Society or the Walcott Lion's Club.
