He was predeceased by: his father Otto Stender; and his sisters, Sharon Low and Cindy Stender. He is survived by: his mother Delores Stender (Mordhorst) of Walcott; his wife Kay Wiese; and his children, Troy Stender (Tina) of Walcott, Jill Moore (Bernie) of Walcott and Shawn Stender (Lynn) of Durant. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
