He was predeceased by: his father William Fairbanks; his grandmother Knapp Bosacker; his son Joseph; his siblings, Bill, Ron, Keith and Janet; and his great grandchild Olivia.
He is survived by: his spouse Raejean Fairbanks; his children, Rose Ames (EJ), Nina Graciana (Joe), Gary Adams (Kelly), Cindi Fairbanks (Roy), Brian Fairbanks (LaDonna), Kelly Fairbanks (Jason) and Amy Horns (Mike); and his sister Kathy Gray. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
