He was predeceased by: his siblings, Johnny, Roselee and Reggie; his granddaughter Mackenzie; and his parents, Harry Smith and Violet Strausser Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his children, Vanessa Smith, Jake Smith, Stephanie Volk (Nick), Emily Prahm (Mark), Theresa Mackey (Matt) and Marjorie Barrett (Rashidi); his brother Bob Smith (Becky); and his stepchildren, Brian, Laura Jean and Mary Beth. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial fund to be established.
