She was predeceased by: her parents, Leigh Rizer and Beulah Rizer (Morley); her husband David Kayser; and her sister Beverly Sprague. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Kayser (Tina Sherman) of Robins, Tim Kayser of Cedar Rapids and Scott Kayser (Roberta) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Karissa Kreassig (Sam), Chelsea Barry (Zach), Tara Hettinger (Chris), Courtney Kayser (Brandon Griffis), Drew Kayser, Ashley Kayser (Lucas Johnson) and Allison Wolf (Jolene); and her sisters, Betty Sheffert of Strawberry Point and Berna Strathman (Lyle) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by eight great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service-Center (622 Main St, Center Point, IA 52213). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (516 Rowley St, Walker, IA 52352).
