She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Fisher and Elsie Fisher (Christensen); her stepfather Ernest Bruhn; her son Randy Maas; and her brother Jerry Fisher.
She is survived by: her daughter Deana Niemeier (Stan) of Walker; her grandchildren, Amber Maas (Jodi Schmidt), Andrew Maas (Halley), Nicole Starks (Zach) and Katrina Niemeier; and her sisters, Barb Lovell (Vernon) of Cedar Falls and Pat Lovell (Craig) of Fairview, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reiff Family Center - Independence (216 3rd Ave SE, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
