He is survived by: his father Arthur Woerdehoff; his wife Sherri Woerdehoff of Wall Lake, IA; his son Jeremy Wunschel (Jennifer) of Wall Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Paige Wunschel of Wall Lake, IA, Peyton Wunschel of Wall Lake, IA, Brooke Scott (Keagan) of Odebolt, IA, Colton Skirvin (Marissa) of Ida Grove, IA and Josh Skirvin of Wall Lake, IA; his great grandchildren, Reese, Luke Scott, Sutton, Jaxon and Rowen Skirvin; his siblings, Arnie Woerdehoff (Barb) of Lake View, IA, Lanette Schafer of Panora, IA, Donna Schafer (Chris) of Adair, IA and Kate Maere (Bart) of Panora, IA; his mother-in-law Norma Bieret of Wall Lake, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Chris Bieret (Sharon) of Wall Lake, IA, Jan Bieret of Wall Lake, IA and Deb Tiefenthaler of Lake View, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 3:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (102 5th St, Wall Lake, IA 51466). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS the family will be gifting any monetary donations to local organizations in Marty's memory.
