We bid farewell to Stan Mortensen of Wall Lake, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 27, 2025 at the age of 71. Stan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Stan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Stan farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Joseph Dillinger.
A rosary will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 4:30 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christensen-Van Houten Funeral Home (213 5th St, Odebolt, IA 51458). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (102 5th St, Wall Lake, IA 51466).
