Janet Larson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Janet Larson in Walnut, Iowa. Janet, born on September 18, 1935 in Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Janet for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Larsen; her sons, Dana Larsen and Scott Larsen (Carla); and her grandchildren, Shawn, Shalane, Ryan (Amanda), Willem, Kelsi (Chad Ford) and Savannah.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church. Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Iles Westover Chapel.
