With sadness, we share the passing of Nancy A. Guthrie in Walnut, Iowa. Nancy, born on April 19, 1939, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her children, Brian (Patrick Robichaud) of Yarmouth Port, MA, Christopher (Stephanie) of Des Moines and Maureen (Jim Dempsey); and her grandchildren, Ryan Guthrie (Chantel) of Columbia, MO, Patrick Guthrie (Tom Sutton) of Chicago, IL, Michael Dempsey (Sarah) of Minneapolis, MN, Meghan Begle (Adam) of Norwalk, IA, Carson and Ethan Guthrie of Des Moines. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in honor of Nancy be given to the American Cancer Society, Catholic Charities, the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, or a charity of your choice.
