It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Angela Sutherland of Wapello, Iowa, born in Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on October 18, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Shafer and Sandra Mae Tompkins; and her grandmother Georgia Tompkins. She is survived by : her children, Karynda Mangold (Casey) of New London, Cody Shafer (Jonathan Fritz), Levi Sutherland (Samantha Bryson) of Wapello and Jacob Sutherland (Hannah Chaney) of Wapello; her grandchildren, Wyatt, Kinsley, Emmett and Mya Mangold; her stepmother Debbie Shafer of Wapello; her siblings, Al Shafer (Pauline) of Davenport, John Shafer of Wapello, Mandi Mincer (Bobby) of Burlington, Brett Shafer (Abby) of Wapello, Brian Shafer (Kristin Hagberg) of Wapello, Charli Shafer of Wapello and Serah Shafer of Wapello; and her close friend Loretta Estabrook. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

A memorial has been established in Angela's name.
