He is survived by: his daughter Julie Ervin (Charles) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Ryan and Zach Ervin; and his great grandchildren, Spencer, Leon and Kiari. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established for the Korean Veterans in Bill's name.
