He was predeceased by: his father Donald Marlette; his brother Duane Marlette; and his in-laws, Burt and Margery Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Matthews of Wapello; his children, Krista Marlette of Wapello and Kenny Marlette (Jodie) of Wapello; his grandchildren, Katelyn Yeakey, Kiley Yeakey, Wyatt Marlette, Kody Marlette, Noah Vogel and Cooper Marlette; his mother Gladys Robertson (Waterhouse) of Wapello; and his siblings, Dennis Marlette (Norma) of Missouri and Teresa Taylor (Ernie) of Burlington.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello (209 Franklin St, Wapello, IA 52653). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services (209 Franklin St, Wapello, IA 52653).
