He was predeceased by: his parents, Knowlton Fletcher and Ruth Fletcher (Morrison); his wife Shirley Kerr; his in-laws, Lawrence and Ruth Kerr; his son Kevin Fletcher; his brothers-in-law, Merwin Kerr (Donna), Jack Samuels, Richard Soukop and Rich Bryant; and his sisters, Iris Soukop and Karolyn Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Fletcher (Gabriella) of Wapello and Renee Arnold (Elmer) of Mediapolis; his grandchildren, Heather Kemper (Mark), Heidi Stoll (Ryan), Josh Fletcher, Justin Fletcher (Miranda) and Erykah Phillips (Ryan); his sisters, Shirley Samuels of Wapello and Llewann Bryant of Wapello; his daughter-in-law Eva Fletcher; his stepgranddaughter Amber Murphy; and his brothers-in-law, Art Sanders, Dr. Melvin Kerr (Judy), Keith "Butch" Kerr (Deanne) and Ronnie Kerr (Shirley). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello (209 Franklin St, Wapello, IA 52653).
