He is survived by : his wife Lois Jack; his children, Roger Richers (Jan), Patty Hardin (Kevin), Sandy Bozarth (Darrell), Shayla Malone (Jeff), Carman Davis (Ryan), Jacob Richers, Shane Hardin (Nickki), Regina Kerr (Ryan), Josh Hardin (Beth), Megan Corry (Brian), Ryan Bozarth (Shelby), Katlyn (Cody), Kolton (Alizabeth), Chance, Kai, Keely, Peyton, Paxton, Alex, Kody, Kaityln, Drew, Max, Luke, Henry, Lincoln, Oliver, Abel, Fynn, Brendon, Bryson, Jack, Luka, Celia, Ottilie and Ada; and his siblings, John Richers (Sharolyn), Marlene Keester (Larry), Mary Lou Anderson (Dwight), Jim Richers (Pat), Darrell Richers (Jan) and Mark Richers (Phyl).

A memorial has been established in Bob's name that will go towards meals provided to Veterans and their families as they attend appointments for care at VA Iowa City Healthcare System (Veteran's Hospital in Iowa City).
