Shirley Schneider Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on December 22, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley Schneider of Wapello, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Pete" Schwob and Catherine "Kate" Schwob (Peters). She is survived by: her husband Merlin Schneider of Wapello; her children, Monica Hinkle (Dennis) of Tiffin, Mark Schneider (Melody) of Pella and Juliana "Jil" Hogan (Tony) of North Liberty; and her grandchildren, Josh Hinkle (Kiley), Cally Schlee, Kyle Roed (Renae), Timothy Roed, Burgandi Carr (Kenny), Carissa Schneider, Zach Hogan (Emily), Ross Hogan (Breann) and Elizabeth Agey (Parash Upreti).

Memorials may be directed to the Wapello Methodist Church in Shirley's name.
