He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Leroy and Lucille Curran Butler; and his brother Ronald "Bill" Butler. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Rosalie Jack of Wapello, IA; his son Brandon Butler of Iowa City, IA; and his grandsons, Alex and George Butler.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Iowa 4H Foundation in memory of Terry. 1259 Stange Rd, Extension 4-H Youth Building Ames, IA 50011.
