She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Waring and Eleanor Waring (Christensen). She is survived by: her husband Tom McNamar of Washington, Iowa; her sons, Zachary Baughman (Courtney) of Keota, Iowa, Jacob Baughman of Waterloo, Iowa and Benjamin Baughman (Lexi) of Dubuque, Iowa; Amy Badger (David) of Dixon, Illinois.. She is also survived by four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Washington Municipal Band and Hospice of Washington County.
