She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jr. Putman and Mary Putman (Chalupa); her husband Harold Claude Goldsmith; her son David Goldsmith; her siblings, Lourene Coakley (Howard), Wilson Putman (Hilda) and Maurice Putman (Violet); her stepfather Ralph Hesseltine; her nephews, Michael and John Putman; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Goldsmith.
She is survived by: her sons, John Goldsmith (Jody) of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Goldsmith (Diane) of Iowa City and Tom Goldsmith (Fran) of Washington, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Tehri Goldsmith of Oxford, Iowa; her niece Deb Putman; and her nephew Steve Putman (Julie). She is also survived by six granddaughters; one step-granddaughter; two step-grandsons; two great-grandsons; and six great-granddaughters.
