She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Paul and Marguerite Irene Toner; her husband Malcolm Brodie; her grandson Colton Marcantel; her sons-in-law, Frank Jones and Michael Andrew; and her sister Bonnie Buresh.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathlyn "Kate" Jones of Big Arm, Montana, Karen Andrew of Washington, Iowa and Kim Brodie (Kelley Marcantel) of Boerne, Texas; her grandchildren, Rebecca Walseth, Jon Saienga, Emilee Jones, Ellyn Hildebrand, Robert Andrew and Zach Marcantel; and her siblings, Sharon Hinde of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Larry Toner (Roseann) of Grand Island, Nebraska. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
