She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Bruegge and Pauline Bruegge (Wingler); her husband LeRoy Clarence Kaufman; and her sisters, Ethel Jefferies, Gertrude Swift and Elsie Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Gonterman of Washington, Marsha Chalupa (Randy) of Wayland, Linda Roth (Marlin) of Mt. Pleasant, Janet Kaufman (Mao Lin) of Washington, Steve Kaufman (Chorey) of Wayland and Andy Kaufman (Heidi) of Mission. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beatty Funeral Home & Cremation Service (107 S 15th Ave, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
