With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David L. Ross of Washington, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on January 19, 2026 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis F. Ross and Lillian L. Ross (Cutler); his son Jon Ross; his brother-in-law Roger Dee; and his granddaughter Alivia.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ross of Washington, Iowa; his sons, David Ross (Rebecca) of Maple Gove, Minnesota and Thomas Ross of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandchildren, Madeline, Claudia Ross, Dominic and Drake Ross; and his sisters, Marilyn Dee of Stratford, Carol Zanker (Jerry) of Galva and Judy Zanker (Daryl) of Murray, Nebraska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been established for the United Methodist Church of Washington and the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
