Though Donald Duane may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stewart and Edna Stewart (Richardson); and his brother Howard Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Barb Stewart of Columbus Junction; his children, Michael Stewart (De), Stephen Coon (Kathy) of Columbus Junction, Iowa, Christine Hamilton of Washington, Iowa, Thomas Stewart (Traci) of Columbus Junction, Iowa and Elizabeth "Betsy" Stalder (Matt) of Washington, Iowa; and his siblings, Frances Ruckles (George) of Muscatine, Iowa and Jim Stewart (Lucy) of Madison, Missouri.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren.
