With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris L. Davidson of Washington, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Bates and Anna Pauline Prandy (Staggs); her husband Dick; her children, John Rollin Davidson and Christy Peiffer; and her siblings, Mary Alice Carter and John Prandy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roberta Shirkey (Mike) of Killen, Alabama and Sally Davidson of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; her son-in-law Rich Pieffer of West Chester, Iowa; her grandchildren, April (Aaron), Alissa Schuerer (Rob), Anna McKenna (Dustin), Staci Mancusi (Rob) and Phil Peiffer (Bobbie); and her brothers, Russel Prandy of South Carolina and James Prandy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Keota Cemetery (500 N Davis St, Keota, IA 52248).
