With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Lee Peters of Washington, Iowa, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth L. Peters and Velma M. Peters (Stephenson). He is survived by : his wife Diane Peters of Washington, Iowa; and his children, Brett Dowell (Pam) of Mediapolis, Iowa, Michael Peters (Kim) of Fresno, California, Christopher Peters (Lisa) of Ashton, Iowa, Don Zaehringer (Jenny) of Columbus Junction, Iowa and Kelly Schnepper of Wilton, Iowa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
